Senior Software Engineer (XDR for Networks) (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Develop XDR network-security features for advanced persistent threat protection and network defense in enterprise environments.
• Build network filter engine and APT scanning applications at the platform layer.
• Complete feature development independently, from detailed module design through implementation and unit testing.
• Research and prototype new technologies for network security products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Solid C/C++ programming skills and familiarity with Linux socket programming.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with debugging tools such as GDB.
• Ability to analyze network packets with packet-capture tools such as Wireshark.
• Familiarity with TCP, HTTP, HTTPS, and other common network protocols.

Nice to have

• Apache server and RESTful API experience.
• Python programming skills.
• Familiarity with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, or NVIDIA Morpheus for model building.
