Software Engineer, Perception (AI)

What you will do

• Develop robust deep learning models for 3D computer vision, including object detection, object pose estimation, and 3D reconstruction.
• Optimize and deploy perception algorithms for reliable robotic grasping and manipulation.
• Improve robot perception for complex interactions in dynamic manufacturing environments.
• Design, implement, and document core perception software capabilities for the platform.
• Support users applying perception capabilities in production applications.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field.
• 1–2 years of experience in AI, machine learning, computer vision, or robotics, with a strong focus on deep learning and transformer-based models.
• Experience deploying computer vision systems and at least one of object detection, 6DoF pose estimation, or 3D reconstruction.
• Proficiency with at least one deep learning framework, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Strong programming skills in Python or C++.

Nice to have

• Expertise in computer vision and robotics.
• GPU kernel programming experience with CUDA.
• Experience optimizing or quantizing machine learning models for deployment.
• Experience developing algorithms for robotic perception, grasping, or manipulation.
