TL;DR
Sr Microsoft Platform Engineer (Microsoft 365): Architecting, governing, and optimizing enterprise collaboration platforms across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem with an accent on Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive, automation, and security. Focus on leading global rollouts, M&A migrations, lifecycle engineering, AI-enabled workplace capabilities, and resolving complex platform issues at enterprise scale.
Location: On-site in Davidson, North Carolina, 5 days per week
Annual base salary: $113,600–$235,500; incentive eligible.

What you will do
- Architect, engineer, optimize, and govern enterprise collaboration platforms across Microsoft 365.
- Lead advanced configurations, integrations, automation frameworks, lifecycle management, and service resiliency planning.
- Develop governance standards for Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, Microsoft 365 Apps, and Power Platform.
- Lead architecture for M&A due diligence, platform harmonization, migrations, and integrations.
- Own critical escalations, root-cause analysis, knowledge transfer, mentoring, and platform reliability improvements.
- Evaluate Microsoft 365 innovations, including AI and Copilot scenarios, and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related IT technical field.
- 7+ years of deep technical experience engineering and supporting Microsoft 365 collaboration ecosystems.
- Expertise in Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, and cloud-based architecture patterns.
- Strong proficiency with PowerShell, Graph API, and workflow orchestration.
- Experience with Teams Voice, conference room technologies, platform modernization, M&A migrations, and enterprise-scale collaboration initiatives.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, troubleshooting, analytical, and cross-functional leadership skills.
