Threat Research Leader (AI)

What you will do

• Lead, coach, hire, and develop a team of senior threat researchers while supporting IC career growth and retention.
• Set quarterly research priorities across APT tracking, threat intelligence, reverse engineering, malware analysis, and vulnerability research.
• Build AI-native workflows using LLMs, agentic systems, and AI-assisted tooling for malware triage, reverse engineering, IOC enrichment, report drafting, and hypothesis generation.
• Align research priorities with engineering and product roadmaps and translate findings into product detection enhancements.
• Develop the team’s external research profile through whitepapers, technical blogs, CVE disclosures, and conference talks.

Requirements

• 8+ years of cybersecurity research experience, including 2+ years managing or leading a research team.
• Deep hands-on experience in cyber threat intelligence, reverse engineering, incident response, or vulnerability research at a Senior or Principal Researcher level.
• Demonstrated experience setting research agendas, prioritizing competing initiatives, and delivering research into products.
• Active hands-on use and evaluation of AI tooling in security workflows, including LLMs and agentic systems.
• Experience with cross-border, cross-timezone collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Excellent English proficiency required for global technical decision-making meetings.
