TL;DR
Senior Solutions Architect (VMware & AI Platform) (VMware, Kubernetes, GPUaaS): Designing enterprise VMware, hybrid cloud, and AI platform architectures for datacentre modernisation with an accent on GPUaaS, model inference, fine-tuning, resilience, security, and governance. Focus on orchestrating GPU-accelerated workloads above the hypervisor, integrating MLOps tooling, and building secure, highly available platforms for regulated and sovereign customers.
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (on-site)

What you will do
- Design and position VMware, private cloud, hybrid cloud, datacentre modernisation, disaster recovery, and platform transformation solutions.
- Architect AI platforms with GPUaaS, model serving, inference, fine-tuning, Kubernetes orchestration, and MLOps tooling.
- Lead customer workshops and complex presales engagements with Sales, Solutions, SMEs, Product Management, and Delivery teams.
- Design resilience, security, governance, tenant isolation, encryption, and responsible-AI controls for regulated and sovereign customers.
- Prepare proposals, RFI/RFP responses, bids, Statements of Work, effort estimates, and delivery approaches.
- Build executive relationships, address technical and commercial objections, maintain Salesforce opportunity data, and mentor the wider solutions organisation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or 10+ years of relevant technical presales, consulting, or solution architecture experience.
- Extensive enterprise infrastructure and VMware experience, including VCF, vSphere, vCenter, NSX, Aria Operations and Automation, and Tanzu.
- Practical knowledge of GPUaaS, NVIDIA vGPU/MIG, GPU passthrough, AMD Instinct, AI inference, fine-tuning, and MLOps tools such as Triton, KServe, Ray, and Kubeflow.
- Strong Kubernetes, infrastructure architecture, automation, security, disaster recovery, backup, business continuity, and resilience expertise.
- Experience with complex enterprise presales, solutioning, negotiations, proposals, project scoping, and Salesforce.
- Fluent Arabic and English required.
Nice to have
- Experience with VMware Private AI Foundation with NVIDIA on VCF.
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 42001, the EU AI Act, NCSC guidance, or comparable responsible-AI frameworks.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar infrastructure automation tools.
