What you will do

  • Schedule and complete solar installation requests and service queries from site assessment through system activation.
  • Diagnose faults, troubleshoot technical issues, and repair Solar Home Systems, inverters, batteries, and related accessories.
  • Perform planned maintenance and return repaired products to full operational service while following safety and quality standards.
  • Create training materials and deliver product troubleshooting, repair, installation, and replacement training for partners and customers.
  • Manage customer calls, emails, disputes, warranty claims, product replacements, and service records.
  • Report service performance, common issues, resolutions, service-level results, and customer satisfaction metrics.

Requirements

  • National Certificate in Electrical Trades (N3) or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar inverter systems and battery-based power backups.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory, with the ability to drive a company vehicle to installation sites.
  • Proven ability to diagnose faults methodically and perform high-quality repairs.
  • Strong customer-service, organizational, problem-solving, and independent-working skills.
  • Ability to follow South African safety, quality, and industry regulations.

Nice to have

  • Three-phase wireman license.
