Senior Accountant (Wroclaw)

What you will do

• Manage reconciliations of advance payment and tax accounts, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate resolution.
• Handle ongoing tax administration, including tax data preparation, calculations, settlements, and payments.
• Prepare and submit GUS statistical declarations and NBP reports, including establishing the NBP reporting process.
• Manage CIT accounting and settlements, deferred tax, provisions, set-off transactions, and tax residency documentation.
• Account for revenue, KSeF invoices, foreign currency transactions, and tax-related and non-tax-related FX differences.
• Provide accounting and tax support to the Chief Accountant, finance team, auditors, tax advisors, and external service providers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in an international company or accounting and finance environment.
• Ability to work from the office in Wroclaw, Poland.
• English at B1/B2 level.
• Good knowledge of Polish accounting and tax regulations, especially CIT and VAT.
• Practical experience with CIT settlements, deferred tax, GUS and NBP reporting, KSeF, electronic invoicing, and IFT-1R/IFT-2R forms.
• Knowledge of accounting entries, month-end and year-end closing, foreign currency transactions, tax reconciliations, and MS Excel.

Nice to have

• Experience with Optima ERP or accounting systems.
• Experience in a multinational group or shared service centre.
• Knowledge of transfer pricing, related-party transactions, external and tax audits, provisions, and Polish payroll and tax processes.
• Experience implementing or improving accounting and reporting processes.
