Head of Production Process

What you will do

• Lead and develop the Production Process team through hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Translate production engineering strategy into quarterly priorities and project plans.
• Own process engineering execution to improve FPY, throughput, cycle time, and rework rates.
• Establish a high-performance operating cadence for risk visibility, documentation, and project reviews.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Design teams.
• Coach engineers to solve problems from first principles and own outcomes end-to-end.

Requirements

• Must be based in Auckland, New Zealand for this on-site role.
• Proven experience leading manufacturing or process engineering teams in high-velocity environments.
• Strong ability to set standards, coach technical talent, and create leverage through others.
• Excellent judgment in making trade-offs between velocity and rigour.
• Alignment with leadership principles including high ownership and dynamic range.
