Game Artist (Gaming)

What you will do

• Create artwork in visual styles ranging from realistic to cartoon.
• Design game logos and marketing assets, including icons, banners, posters, and other promotional materials.
• Create, export, optimise, and deliver high-quality 2D game assets according to platform specifications.
• Produce game and product previews.
• Collaborate with the Lead Artist and Game Producer throughout the game creation process.
• Deliver assets on schedule and meet project milestones.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
• Portfolio demonstrating digital, traditional, and graphic art techniques is mandatory.
• Experience with branding, logo design, typography, text layout, marketing banners, and icons.
• Understanding of game asset creation, export, and optimisation processes.
• Intermediate spoken English required.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation, adaptability, teamwork, and effective communication.

Nice to have

• Animation skills, particularly with Spine.
• Knowledge of gaming industry art styles and visual trends.
• Professional experience in gaming or a similar creative field.
• Jira knowledge.
• Experience using AI tools in a creative workflow.
