Regional Collection Manager (Fintech)

Location: Malawi; onsite

Off-grid solar energy company combining solar products, PAYG financing, fintech, and field operations to expand energy access for underserved households and businesses.

What you will do

• Develop and implement region-specific collection strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise Area Collections Executives while monitoring target achievement and professional standards.
• Train regional stakeholders and build capability in risk management and collections.
• Coordinate with regional operations, sales, customer care, and Easy Buy teams to improve communications and resolve disputes.
• Track daily, weekly, and monthly collection performance reports.
• Conduct field audits and investigations, identify collection risks, and create mitigation plans.

Requirements

• Degree in a business-related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in field collections, including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience in microfinance, fintech, or banking.
• Strong collaboration, interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Commitment to improving outcomes for rural underserved consumers.
