Forward Deployed Engineer (Autonomous Driving)

Location: On-site in One-north, Singapore; global travel and international deployments required

What you will do

• Own the deployment and real-world operation of L4 autonomous driving systems.
• Lead system-level functional, performance, and safety testing across diverse road, traffic, and environmental conditions.
• Support on-site vehicle testing and fleet operations in Singapore and other countries.
• Analyze operational data, investigate root causes, and improve system performance and stability.
• Collaborate with autonomy software, hardware, cloud, and technical program management teams to resolve complex system-level issues.
• Support international system rollout, localization, and scalable deployment processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Robotics, Automation, Vehicle Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in autonomous driving, robotics, or a related domain; L4 experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with autonomous driving system testing, validation, and deployment workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and system debugging skills.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Python, and ROS is preferred.
• Fluent Mandarin and English required, with the ability to work in cross-functional and customer-facing environments; willingness to travel globally is required.
