Entry Level Java Developer Associate (Java)

Location: San Antonio, Texas, United States. Applicants must already have U.S. work authorization that does not require current or future visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Analyze, design, code, test, and enhance complex application modules.
• Translate user and system requirements into design specifications, system interfaces, and application components.
• Support application releases, production installation, technical operations, and issue resolution.
• Participate in peer reviews, walkthroughs, development methodologies, and work planning.
• Create operational documentation and coordinate work with architects and other systems specialists.
• Track deliverables, risks, estimates, actual effort, and application-related issues.

Requirements

• Two- or four-year STEM degree.
• At least six months of Java development experience with web-based applications is preferred.
• Experience with Java web technologies and frameworks such as J2EE, JDK, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, HTML, XML, JSP, CSS, and JavaScript is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a problem-solving environment.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, time-management, written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
• Must have U.S. work authorization without requiring visa sponsorship.
