Software Development Specialist (Java)

What you will do

• Set technical direction and manage issues, integrations, and technical service levels across Java and JEE technologies.
• Define technical requirements and design solutions that support business needs.
• Participate in detailed design and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot code issues and review system performance and resource consumption.
• Review test plans and provide technical guidance and support to other contributors.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience designing and developing large-scale, complex enterprise systems.
• At least 3 years of experience designing and developing REST/JSON web services.
• At least 3 years of experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, CXF, Log4j, JUnit, or Guice.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Maven, and Gradle.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder and have lived in the United States for 3 of the past 5 years.
