Propulsion Technician - Rotor Assembly (Aerospace): Assembling and testing propulsion rotors and critical hardware in a 100% R&D environment with an accent on precision mechanical assembly, functional testing, and full work traceability. Focus on establishing production processes, operating automated test equipment, and maintaining exacting cleanliness standards for oxygen service environments.
Location: Auckland, New Zealand. New Zealand office candidates must be eligible to access equipment and data regulated by U.S. ITAR requirements.

What you will do
- Receive, assemble, and test propulsion rotor components to exacting specifications.
- Perform precision mechanical assembly of critical propulsion hardware.
- Conduct functional testing with mechanical, electrical, and automated test equipment.
- Establish production-line processes and procedures while documenting work with full traceability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement as the Rotor Assembly team and its capabilities expand.
- Support an agile, fast-paced R&D environment through flexible problem-solving.
Requirements
- Trade qualification and 4+ years of hands-on precision manufacturing experience.
- Exceptional hand skills for assembling complex mechanical components.
- Experience with quality control, inspection, and precision measurement tools.
- Ability to read complex technical drawings and operate automated test equipment.
- Ability to work to exacting cleanliness standards, including oxygen service environments.
- For the New Zealand office, eligibility to access ITAR-regulated equipment and data is required; nationality checks will be conducted.
Nice to have
- Motorsport or other high-performance industry experience.
- Turbo machining expertise, including proficiency with lathes and mills.
