2nd Level Engineer Backoffice IT Operation (.NET): Supporting and improving high-availability backoffice applications and distributed event-driven production systems built with .NET, Angular, MSSQL, Kubernetes, and RabbitMQ, with an accent on incident investigation, observability, and operational automation. Focus on troubleshooting complex API, database, messaging, and deployment issues, strengthening CI/CD reliability, and maintaining secure, resilient services.
Location: Budapest, Hungary
Full-time employment supporting production backoffice applications and distributed event-driven platforms.

What you will do
- Provide second-level application support for high-availability production systems.
- Investigate incidents using logs, dashboards, metrics, traces, and system diagnostics.
- Support Kubernetes workloads and troubleshoot APIs, .NET services, RabbitMQ event flows, and MSSQL databases.
- Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, post-incident reviews, release validation, and operational readiness reviews.
- Maintain runbooks, standard operating procedures, and internal knowledge bases.
- Improve automation, observability, CI/CD reliability, deployment consistency, and developer experience using PowerShell, Bash, and AI-assisted tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in application support or production operations.
- University degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong knowledge of .NET services, REST APIs, C# fundamentals, SQL, preferably MSSQL, and RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Splunk, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, ticketing systems, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of ITIL or service management practices; ITIL Foundation is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional, multicultural environment.
