Junior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Milan, Italy, with in-person collaboration at the Milan HQ

Annual salary: €30,000–€50,000, plus equity and performance bonuses.

hirify.global is building an AI product that helps lawyers, law firms, and companies work more efficiently with legal information.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain web scrapers using Python, Scrapy, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with the team to identify requirements, propose technical solutions, and develop internal tools.
• Work with Legal Engineers to translate legal-domain needs into technical solutions.
• Build and maintain backend systems and data processing pipelines supporting legal data and NLP algorithms.
• Contribute to scalable system architecture and generative AI implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Python, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Fluency in Italian and English is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Familiarity with API development frameworks such as FastAPI or Django.
• Experience with AI-based coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
• Experience with AI and LLMs.
