Multilingual Localizer / Writer (Traditional Chinese/Japanese)

What you will do

• Translate and localize in-app learning and marketing content between Traditional Chinese and Japanese from a pedagogical perspective.
• Iterate and polish localized content based on QA tasks to improve the learning experience.
• Create lesson scripts, activities, vocabulary lists, and other learning materials for Japanese learners of Traditional Chinese under manager guidance.
• Support content operations, including script uploads, lesson QA, and coordination of operational tasks.
• Follow manager direction, complete projects, and maintain clear communication with international team members.

Requirements

• Native Traditional Chinese and native or near-native Japanese writing and hirify.globaling skills.
• Working proficiency in English.
• Deep understanding of Japanese and Traditional Chinese, including the current state of Japanese learning in Traditional Chinese.
• Demonstrated experience in Traditional Chinese–Japanese translation and localization.
• Experience in Japanese teaching, language pedagogy, or curriculum design.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership, communication, learning ability, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience working in educational technology.
• Experience using AI tools, including LLMs, generators, or internal tools, to create scalable and pedagogically aligned learning materials.
