Data & AI Engineering Intern (Autonomous Driving)

hirify.global develops autonomous logistics systems for safe-speed goods transportation, using deep learning, rigorous mathematics, and theoretically grounded autonomy algorithms.

What you will do

• Analyze vehicle log data, including sensor feeds, speeds, and trajectories, to identify driving scenarios and edge cases.
• Build and maintain automated ETL scripts to parse, clean, and organize large volumes of autonomous-vehicle test data.
• Develop and maintain internal web dashboards for test metrics and scenario statistics.
• Explore AI agents and bots for automated data analysis and scenario generalization under mentor guidance.
• Support the data loop used to iterate and validate autonomous driving systems.

Requirements

• Current BS, MS, or PhD student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• Solid Python skills and comfort working in Linux or Ubuntu environments.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Basic backend web development experience with technologies such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Basic frontend development or data visualization experience, familiarity with Git and Docker, and interest in LLMs or AI agents.
• Ability to commit to a 4–6 month internship.
