Data Annotation Team Leader

The role supports international data annotation projects within the Data department.

What you will do

• Lead, train, and support overseas data annotators through daily guidance, documentation, and issue resolution.
• Analyze feedback and acceptance outcomes to improve annotation methodologies and guidelines.
• Design quality control frameworks, evaluation metrics, and audit processes across the annotation lifecycle.
• Identify operational risks and recommend process improvements to increase team efficiency.
• Plan workloads, coordinate resources, and deliver high-quality annotated data on schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• At least 2.5 years of data annotation experience.
• Written and spoken English and Chinese are required.
• Ability to interpret English annotation guidelines and technical documentation accurately.
• Knowledge of descriptive statistics, data cleaning, preprocessing, and basic analysis of annotated datasets.
• Ability to provide data-driven recommendations for annotation quality and decision-making.
