TL;DR
Mobile Developer (.NET MAUI) (C#/iOS/Android): Building and maintaining driver, attendant, and parent mobile applications with an accent on cross-platform .NET MAUI development, backend APIs, and physical device integration. What you will do
- Build, maintain, and improve driver, attendant, and parent applications for iOS and Android using .NET MAUI and C#.
- Design and build the .NET REST APIs supporting the mobile applications.
- Manage mobile builds, signing, provisioning, store submissions, reviews, and releases for the Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Integrate ruggedized Android tablets and peripherals, including RFID readers, QR and barcode scanners, and USB devices.
- Own push notifications and messaging for drivers, attendants, and parents.
- Investigate production issues and contribute to ridership, GPS tracking, live viewer, dispatch, and related platform features.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of professional mobile development experience, including 2–3 years building and shipping production applications with .NET MAUI.
- Strong .NET MAUI and C# skills, including independent design and development of backend REST APIs in .NET.
- Experience with mobile build configuration, code signing, provisioning, store submission, and release management for both iOS and Android.
- Experience integrating mobile applications with physical hardware and peripherals such as scanners, readers, USB, or Bluetooth devices.
- Use AI tooling, including Claude, as a core part of design, development, testing, and debugging.
- Ability to work autonomously in a small team and take ambiguous requests through to shipped releases.
Nice to have
- React Native or Progressive Web App experience.
- DevOps experience with build and release pipelines, environment setup, and deployment automation.
- Experience with Android device management, kiosk deployments, or fleet-provisioned tablets.
- Background in fleet, transportation, telematics, GPS, or logistics software.
- Experience with self-hosted and cloud-hosted product deployments.
