What you will do
- Develop and deploy perception and deep learning models, including computer vision, vision-language, and large language models, for real-time autonomous driving.
- Design algorithms that forecast the behavior and intentions of vehicles, pedestrians, and other dynamic agents.
- Develop vehicle localization and environment-representation algorithms using maps, onboard sensors, and learning-based methods.
- Contribute to motion planning, decision-making, and vehicle-control modules for safe, efficient, and human-like driving.
- Build simulation platforms with sensor modeling, 3D environment reconstruction, realistic scenarios, and interacting agent behaviors.
- Develop AI-driven methods for evaluating autonomous-driving simulations.
Requirements
- MS or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Physics, Computer Vision, Graphics, Machine Learning, Automation, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Expected graduation before December 2026.
- Proficiency in C++ and/or Python, including knowledge of modern language features.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Passion for innovation in the autonomous vehicle industry.
Nice to have
- Research published or presented at leading machine learning or robotics conferences such as NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV, ECCV, IROS, or ICRA.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience with large language models or vision-language models.
- Participation in open-source competitions or autonomous-driving challenges.
