Inverter Team Leader (Solar Inverters)

Location: Onsite in Arusha, Tanzania; extensive field travel expected five days per week.

What you will do

• Recruit, train, certify, and maintain a network of solar inverter sales agents.
• Set and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly inverter sales targets while improving agent productivity.
• Train agents on collections, track First Payment Default and at-risk accounts, support resolutions, and oversee repossessions.
• Set team goals, align execution with company objectives, and support motivation, well-being, and teamwork.
• Develop digital media and location-based marketing activation campaigns to drive traffic and sales.
• Coordinate customer issue resolution and after-sales support while managing inventory, branding, and field visits.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least four years of experience in inverter systems sales or the renewable energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of urban and rural local markets, communication, people management, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic digital literacy with CRM and stock tools, plus proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work in the field five days per week.

Nice to have

• EPRA license as a solar PV Technician.
