DevOps Engineer

Location: Algés, Portugal; mixed Home Office / On-site work with defined on-site requirements.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and maintain infrastructure availability, performance, and security.
• Participate in troubleshooting and incident response activities.
• Design, implement, and maintain secure on-prem infrastructure using VMware, Hyper-V, and VM Essentials.
• Track current DevOps and cloud-computing practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in DevOps or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes and on-prem infrastructure technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, and VM Essentials.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Python, Ruby, or Bash.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with security pipelines and vulnerability management using SonarQube or JFrog.
• Experience with Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Terraform.
