What you will do
- Partner with field managers on workforce planning, performance, engagement, and HR strategy.
- Act as the primary HR contact for field-based employees and managers.
- Manage employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary matters, absenteeism, sick leave, and misconduct.
- Oversee performance cycles, goal setting, appraisals, and performance improvement plans.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, induction, learning, and development for field employees.
- Track HR metrics and provide recommendations to improve retention, productivity, and workforce practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, including hands-on work with field-based or distributed teams.
- Experience supporting sales, operations, or agent-driven field teams and high-volume workforces.
- Experience with employee relations, disciplinary processes, and Tanzanian labour law.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Kiswahili.
