Data Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Singapore, Singapore; on-site. Only Singapore Citizens will be considered.

What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize large-scale data systems for threat detection, investigation, and analysis.
• Scale data systems to handle emerging threats and growing data volumes.
• Develop scalable, highly available system architectures with CI/CD.
• Build high-performance microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Enhance system-health dashboards and telemetry collection.
• Track industry trends and emerging technologies to improve data systems.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent background in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Engineering.
• 1–3 years of data engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work.
• Singapore Citizenship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk or the ELK stack.
• Knowledge of network IDS tools such as Snort or Suricata.
• Experience with high-performance, scalable, low-latency networking.
• Knowledge of cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience designing microservices, RESTful APIs, and DevOps CI/CD tooling such as GitLab CI/CD and Helm.
