Salary: €92,000–€108,000 yearly base salary

hirify.global develops a quantum computing processor based on quantum electronics, nanofabrication, and carbon nanotube science.

What you will do

  • Define and drive the theory roadmap across hardware modeling, quantum error correction, and quantum algorithms for industrial applications.
  • Strengthen the error-correction strategy, including code benchmarking, implementation, and the fault-tolerance roadmap.
  • Lead hardware–theory co-design for scalable quantum computing architectures and long-term scalability strategies.
  • Recruit, mentor, and structure the theory team as the company grows.
  • Establish collaborations with academic and research partners and contribute to the company’s scientific visibility.
  • Balance scientific ambition, hardware feasibility, and business impact while building consensus across technical experts.

Requirements

  • Strong background in quantum computing with expertise in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms.
  • Broad understanding of the quantum computing stack and the ability to work across theory and hardware domains.
  • Architecture-level understanding of scalable quantum computing and fault-tolerant strategies.
  • Demonstrated scientific leadership, including defining a vision, aligning experts, and driving execution.
  • Ability to connect theoretical developments with experimental and hardware constraints.

  • Experience leading or mentoring research teams.
  • Experience working in startups or fast-paced private-sector environments.
