Focus on diagnosing distributed big data challenges, improving performance, coordinating escalations with engineering teams, and supporting customers through on-call rotations.

What you will do
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues related to the Databricks Platform.
- Provide best-practice guidance for custom-built customer solutions and recommend performance improvements.
- Investigate third-party integrations with Databricks environments.
- Coordinate with engineering and escalation teams to resolve customer issues and requests.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles while advocating for customers.
- Participate in weekday and weekend on-call rotations.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience designing, building, testing, and maintaining applications using Python, Java, or Scala.
- Expert-level Python knowledge is desired.
- Strong experience with SQL-based databases and Linux/Unix administration.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with distributed big data computing environments.
- Technical degree or equivalent experience; written and spoken proficiency in Japanese and English required.
