Junior Analytical Chemist (OLED Materials)

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; on-site

Salary: CAD 65,000–90,000 per year

What you will do

• Perform laboratory analysis of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Use analytical instruments including NMR, MS, HPLC, UV, IR, TGA, and DSC.
• Assist with analytical method development, transfer, and validation.
• Troubleshoot analytical methods and laboratory instrumentation.
• Document tests, deviations, and findings according to SOPs.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and environmentally compliant laboratory.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in chemistry or a related science
• Understanding of basic chemistry, including chromatography and spectroscopic technologies.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and relevant data-processing programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail, flexibility, initiative, and willingness to learn quickly.

Nice to have

• Understanding of organic chemistry.
• Knowledge of GMP/GLP.
