Application Security Researcher (AI)

What you will do

• Collaborate with development teams on design reviews, code reviews, and dynamic analysis.
• Identify, communicate, and drive the remediation of application vulnerabilities.
• Conduct iterative security testing to support early security evaluation throughout the SDLC.
• Research and advocate for new security solutions and technologies.
• Design and develop AI-powered internal security tools to automate security processes.
• Respond to and triage application vulnerability incidents.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in application security research, including major application security attacks, vulnerabilities, and mitigations such as SQL injection, deserialization, and RCE, or relevant military service.
• 3+ years of experience conducting high-level backend code audits, or relevant military service.
• Familiarity with multiple programming languages, including Go, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience using AI capabilities for application security.
• Deep understanding of securing AI-powered applications.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS and GCP cloud environments.
• Experience discovering a high-severity vulnerability in a popular application.
• Familiarity with mobile application platforms and APIs such as Google Play and the App Store.
