3D Technical Artist (AI)

What you will do

• Collaborate with algorithm engineers to define 3D art specifications and benchmark standards for AI training.
• Optimize artistic pipelines for 3D data cleaning and quality assurance, including topology, normals, UVs, and textures.
• Monitor the quality of models delivered by outsourcing vendors and provide actionable feedback.
• Research emerging trends in 3D Generative AI to establish new best practices at the intersection of data and art.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Animation, Game Design, Digital Media, or related fields.
• 1–3 years of experience in 3D-related industries such as gaming, film, or asset library construction.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and texturing tools like Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, or Substance Painter.
• Strong understanding of the PBR production pipeline and ability to balance aesthetic quality with technical constraints.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Beijing office.

Nice to have

• Experience in 3D data annotation or model QA.
• In-depth understanding of rendering pipelines and model optimization.
• Prior experience participating in AIGC projects, specifically 3D diffusion or text-to-3D.
