Head of Design (AI)

Location: London; three days a week in the office

Salary: £120K–£140K per year plus equity; compensation depends on experience and location.

What you will do

• Lead design at a pivotal stage of company growth, building the team and setting its direction and quality bar.
• Remain hands-on while scaling the design function and its delivery processes.
• Design Certify, a product that accelerates physical infrastructure certification through agentic workflows.
• Create UX that makes dense audit work clear and usable.
• Shape the company brand across the product, sales materials, social media, and merchandise.

Requirements

• Deep end-to-end product design experience across UX, UI, prototyping, shipping, and iteration.
• Experience building and leading small, fast-moving design teams.
• Ability to establish delivery and quality processes as a team grows.
• Systems and services thinking beyond individual screens.
• Proactive ownership, pragmatism, and comfort working as a generalist in a highly ambiguous environment.
• Willingness to work in person in the London office three days per week.

Nice to have

• B2B SaaS or technical product experience.
• Experience using AI to improve design speed and quality.
