TL;DR
Senior Fullstack Engineer (Python/React): Building merchant-facing features and consumer experiences that enable health and wellness purchases through HSA/FSA funds with an accent on modern frontend development, backend APIs, and data-driven conversion optimization. Focus on owning large features end to end, designing scalable data models, instrumenting metrics, and improving system performance and observability.
Location: Remote, USA
Salary: $175,000–$225,000 per year plus equity

What you will do
- Own large merchant-facing features from inception through completion.
- Build a world-class consumer experience for .com.
- Collaborate with product, go-to-market, and design teams to shape the merchant experience.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical design documents, architectural vision, and the technical roadmap.
- Drive engineering excellence through testing, monitoring, observability, and performance optimization.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience on a high-performing engineering team with increasingly impactful accomplishments.
- Full-stack experience with Python, Django, NextJS, React, and TypeScript.
- Experience designing, using, and expanding backend APIs and data models.
- Hands-on experience with metrics instrumentation and data-driven performance tuning using tools such as Datadog.
- Experience proposing improvements, experimenting, and iterating on existing systems.
