Benefits Management - US and Canada (Health and Wellness)

Location: Westminster, Colorado preferred; Portland, Oregon, or Dayton, Ohio. Onsite 4 days per week. Travel requirement: 10%.

Salary: $105,600–$145,200 per year. Bonus eligible; not commission eligible.

What you will do

• Develop and manage the end-to-end benefits strategy for the US and Canada, including medical, dental, vision, family, and financial wellbeing programs.
• Lead the benefits team and manage external brokers, carriers, and vendor partnerships.
• Partner with Finance, Payroll, Legal, and HRIS teams to optimize plan performance, manage budgets, and lead annual renewals.
• Design and deliver benefits communications and education campaigns.
• Oversee plan documentation and required federal, state, and local filings.
• Use digital tools, technology integrations, AI-driven insights, and data analytics to track utilization and personalize benefits programs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in benefits administration.
• Experience with strategic plan design, benefits compliance, and vendor management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local benefits regulations.
• Analytical, negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.

Nice to have

• Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) or similar professional certification.
• Experience managing benefits programs in Canada or in a large, complex, multi-state corporate environment.
