General Interest Application (Aerospace Robotics)

Location: Remote roles are available in Brooklyn, United States; Barcelona roles are open to EU nationals or work permit holders.

Develops and operates stratospheric balloon-based imaging robots that capture Earth imagery from altitudes of 40,000–60,000 feet.

What you will do

• Contribute to the design, construction, and operation of stratospheric imaging robots.
• Support engineering production or maintenance operations involving technical hardware.
• Coordinate workflows, assign tasks, and optimize operational processes.
• Manage multiple projects, prioritize work, and maintain strict deadlines.
• Review processing performance metrics and recommend data-informed workflow improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, data science, management information systems, data analytics, computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in a relevant field, or 3+ years working with technical hardware.
• Experience in an engineering production or maintenance organization.
• Experience managing teams, delegating tasks, coordinating workflows, and implementing quality assurance processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and analyze processing performance metrics.
• Barcelona roles require EU nationality or an EU work permit.

Nice to have

• Experience with Airtable or similar workflow management tools.
• Experience with aerial imagery, mapping principles, geospatial data, or GIS.
