Principal Web UI Developer (React)

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of complex user experiences using modern web technologies.
• Manage UI engineering teams and coordinate with client stakeholders and other contributors.
• Act as a hands-on frontend engineer and architect across initiatives ranging from small projects to complex systems.
• Collaborate with clients as a technical advisor, building relationships and supporting follow-on engagements.
• Partner with business development teams on pitches, solution presentations, and engagement planning.
• Support engineering managers with management practices and strategic career development.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience designing and building complex commercial software applications.
• 5+ years of experience leading Agile teams, with demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience managing project teams and working with clients in finance, consulting, or startup environments.
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience with one or more cloud platforms and contemporary software development lifecycle practices, including continuous delivery.
• Strong understanding of testing, quality, continuous integration, source control, and code reviews.

Nice to have

• Experience in capital markets, financial markets products, or consulting.
• Backend engineering experience with .NET, Java, or Python.
• Experience with financial tools and products such as Bloomberg, Symphony, Salesforce, or Databricks.
