What you will do
- Train end-to-end models for fault prediction, network state modeling, and autonomous repair.
- Build multimodal models over structured networking data.
- Implement function-calling systems that make decisions across network infrastructure.
- Evaluate model performance on real-world hardware and virtualized environments.
- Ship models into production networks and iterate with firmware and application engineering teams.
- Help define modeling approaches, technical direction, and the long-term vision of a founding applied research organization.
Requirements
- Experience building, training, and scaling neural networks from the ground up.
- Systems-oriented thinking beyond benchmark performance.
- Interest in modeling physical-world systems.
- Ability to collaborate across hardware and software layers.
- Ability to work on-site in San Francisco.
