Platform Lead (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

What you will do

• Design and execute a founder strategy that attracts, engages, and assesses high-quality healthcare entrepreneurs for investment.
• Build founder pipelines through outbound sourcing, ecosystem partnerships, events, networking, and community engagement.
• Conduct founder and concept due diligence with the investment team and prepare opportunities for the Investment Committee.
• Build relationships with Saudi government entities, universities, accelerators, venture hubs, and corporate partners.
• Develop the SSRH brand through market content, storytelling, media partnerships, social channels, newsletters, and press.
• Onboard portfolio founders and coordinate strategic support services, pilots, partnerships, and regulatory pathways for their companies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in venture capital or startups and preferably in an international context.
• Strong understanding of the Saudi startup ecosystem and proven ability to build ecosystems and position an organization in a new market.
• Excellent judgment of high-quality talent and the ability to assess founders and their visions.
• Superior communication, interpersonal, cross-cultural collaboration, prioritization, and execution skills.
• Fully fluent Arabic and English, with comfort working across time zones and geographies.
• Proven ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to build sophisticated productivity systems and workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience as a startup founder and/or investor.
• Experience building relationships with Saudi government, enterprise, university, accelerator, or venture ecosystem organizations.
