Senior iOS Engineer

Location: Remote or hybrid from the office in Krakow, Poland

Salary: 20,000–28,000 PLN per month; exact compensation varies based on skills, experience, and location within Poland.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain core features of the hirify.global iOS application used by retail field teams worldwide.
• Drive iOS architecture decisions, code quality standards, and technical direction as the counterpart to the Mobile Engineering Manager.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing sessions, and technical guidance.
• Collaborate with Android, QA, backend, and ML/image-recognition teams across the US, Poland, Hungary, and Ukraine.
• Contribute to technical discussions, sprint planning, and roadmap prioritization.
• Improve build pipelines, testing strategies, development workflows, and mobile capabilities involving on-device ML and camera/AR integrations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience with Swift.
• Strong knowledge of modern iOS architecture patterns, including MVVM, Clean Architecture, and multi-module projects.
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to take ownership of architecture, team processes, and delivery outcomes.
• Ability to work remotely or from the Krakow, Poland office in a hybrid arrangement.

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Bitrise, or Fastlane.
• Familiarity with Core ML or TensorFlow Lite, ARKit, and camera-based capture workflows.
• Experience in retail technology, field service, or enterprise mobile applications.
• Experience optimizing app performance, battery usage, and network efficiency.
• Familiarity with cross-platform considerations and Android/Kotlin team coordination.
