Area Trade Developers (Fintech)

What you will do

• Recruit, onboard, train, and manage phone-selling ATD Agents across the assigned territory.
• Forecast demand, coordinate replenishment, deliver smartphone stock, and maintain inventory controls.
• Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets while coaching low-performing agents.
• Monitor customer registration, PayGo activation, repayment trends, phone replacements, and warranty logistics.
• Run local roadshows, market demonstrations, door-to-door activities, and temporary activations.
• Maintain agent records, visit logs, sales and stock trackers, and weekly territory performance reports.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in a business-related field, or at least 3 years of field sales experience in FMCG, microfinance, mobile money, or telecommunications.
• Experience recruiting and managing independent agents or micro-distributors.
• Strong knowledge of urban, peri-urban, and rural local markets and community dynamics.
• Proficiency with Android smartphones, CRM tools, Microsoft Excel, and basic PowerPoint reporting.
• Willingness to work onsite in the field 5–6 days per week across Tanzania.
