Staff System Software Engineer - Embedded AI & Algorithm (Computer Vision)

Location: US Headquarters; must work in the Santa Clara, California offices 3 days a week

Salary: $160,000–$183,000 base salary per year, depending on location, experience, and comparable employee compensation.

What you will do

• Research and develop computer vision and machine learning algorithms for future intelligent video products.
• Develop ML and computer vision algorithms and systems for edge devices.
• Train and optimize deep learning-based computer vision algorithms.
• Use hardware and software capabilities to build fast and accurate deep neural networks.
• Validate algorithms and assess performance using large-scale datasets.
• Collaborate across disciplines on applications including surveillance cameras, autonomous vehicles, drones, and wearable cameras.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD degree in computer science or electrical engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience with edge devices.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C, and C++.
• Experience with deep learning and computer vision applications.
• Experience developing or using deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, or ONNX.
• Experience optimizing deep learning and machine learning algorithms through retraining, quantization, or pruning.

Nice to have

• Experience with image quality tuning, image processing algorithms, and image processing pipelines.
