What you will do

• Own the electrical engineering development process for next-generation platform ECUs from concept to mass production.
• Establish best practices for schematic capture, PCB layout, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
• Manage interfaces with internal teams and external Tier 1/2 partners to ensure seamless system integration.
• Provide expert-level review of EE schematics and datasheets for SoCs, MCUs, and FPGAs.
• Define validation strategies with Lab and Test teams for hardware stability across product lifecycle.
• Drive initiatives to reduce BOM cost, improve hardware reliability, and accelerate time-to-market.

Requirements

• Minimum 20+ years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering and hardware validation.
• Experience in safety-critical or highly regulated industries delivering production-grade electronics.
• Expertise in reading complex EE schematics and designing high-performance computing platforms.
• Deep understanding of IPC-A-610/620 quality standards and supplier manufacturing validation.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.

Nice to have

• Direct automotive experience with automotive-grade electronics, high-voltage DC systems, and wiring harness architectures.
• Proven ability to execute cost-avoidance strategies through board-level repairs and design optimizations.
