What you will do

• Define and drive original research into temporal coherence, causal reasoning, long-horizon prediction, and user-intent alignment in world models.
• Design novel architectures, learning objectives, and training frameworks beyond diffusion and transformer paradigms.
• Build and mentor a small research group, guiding projects from hypotheses through experimental validation and prototype demonstrations.
• Translate foundational research breakthroughs into stable prototypes in collaboration with engineering.
• Publish research at venues such as NeurIPS, ICML, and ICLR, and engage with the broader research community.

Requirements

• Staff-level or senior ML research experience with a strong publication record.
• Expertise in generative modeling, video synthesis, multimodal learning, or adjacent areas.
• First-principles approach to defining research problems and building minimal systems to validate ideas.
• Experience leading or mentoring a small research group and taking projects from open questions to publication or deployment.
• Ability to work autonomously in a focused research environment with close engineering collaboration.
