Product Designer (AI)

Location: On-site in the New York City, San Francisco, or Buenos Aires office

Salary: $120,000–$250,000 base annually for NYC and San Francisco, plus equity; compensation may vary by location.

What you will do

• Design core product experiences from early exploration through launch and iteration.
• Develop sketches, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to explore solutions quickly.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to turn strategy and ambiguous problems into clear product experiences.
• Refine layouts, typography, spacing, motion, and interactions while balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business goals.
• Use user feedback and qualitative insights to improve data visualization and content workflow tools.
• Contribute to hirify.global’s design language, systems, and product vision, including regular design critiques.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience designing digital products, ideally in a startup or fast-moving product company.
• Strong generalist design skills with ownership of flows, visual design, and final product execution.
• High standards for clarity, simplicity, craft, and visual execution.
• Product-thinking and entrepreneurial mindset with strong collaboration skills across product, engineering, and data science.
• Portfolio demonstrating thoughtful problem-solving and high-quality visual design.
• Comfort experimenting with AI tools, Figma plugins, v0, Cursor, and other prototyping tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with data visualization or B2B marketing products.
• Experience prototyping directly in code and shipping to production with Git and GitHub.
