Senior Developer Relations Manager (Photonic AI)

Location: Stuttgart or Munich, Germany; hybrid with 3 days onsite

hirify.global develops photonic processing systems that compute with light as an energy-efficient alternative to transistor-based architectures for next-generation AI and HPC applications.

What you will do

• Define and execute the developer community strategy through forums, meetups, hackathons, and other engagement activities.
• Represent hirify.global at conferences and community events by delivering talks, running workshops, and building relationships with developers, researchers, partners, and technical influencers.
• Create technical content including blog posts, tutorials, whitepapers, code examples, and reference implementations.
• Serve as the technical interface for clients, partners, and prospects, answering questions and helping developers succeed with hirify.global hardware.
• Build hirify.global's thought leadership across GitHub, Stack Overflow, Reddit, X, and other developer platforms.
• Coordinate with software, technical, and marketing communications teams to align content and engagement with the product roadmap.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building and running developer communities, both in person and on community platforms.
• Software engineering background with hands-on Python experience, especially NumPy, scientific computing, and machine learning frameworks.
• Deep understanding of AI and scientific algorithms.
• Strong public speaking, presentation, technical writing, cross-functional coordination, and client-facing skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for conferences, meetups, and client engagements.
• Fluent English is required for public speaking, writing, and community moderation.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Experience with open-source tooling such as GitHub and Jupyter notebooks.
• Experience with hackathons, workshops, quantum computing, photonics, HPC, academic communities, or scientific communication.
