Infrastructure Automation Engineer (LATAM)

What you will do

• Expand configuration management and automation coverage across a 2,000+ server environment.
• Build and maintain Chef- and Ansible-based automation workflows.
• Provision and orchestrate infrastructure at scale.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to reduce manual operational work.
• Identify repeatable operational tasks and convert them into automated workflows.
• Integrate automation workflows with monitoring platforms such as Datadog and Prometheus.

Requirements

• Hands-on expertise with Chef and Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Experience with infrastructure provisioning and orchestration at scale.
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience working with Agile methodology.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Azure infrastructure-as-code tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Experience automating VMware provisioning and lifecycle tasks.
• Experience operating in large-scale environments with 2,000+ virtual servers.
• Familiarity with branching strategies and pull-request-based code review workflows.
