Senior Internal IT Auditor (FinTech)

Location: Munich, Germany; international relocation support is provided if required.

What you will do

• Own audit engagements within the IT and ISMS domains.
• Conduct independent audits according to the internal audit plan.
• Manage the full audit lifecycle, including procedures, reports, findings, and remediation tracking.
• Build collaborative relationships with Operations, Product, and Engineering.
• Develop and optimize internal audit methodologies.
• Build in-depth knowledge of operations in a rapidly growing FinTech environment.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional experience in the financial sector, banking, or a reputable auditing firm.
• Experience with internal or external audits in financial services.
• Expertise in IT and ISMS audits, including ISO 27001, EBA guidelines, BSI standards, and DORA.
• CISA certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Professional fluency in both German and English.
