Country Manager, Zambia (Fintech)

Location: Lusaka, Zambia. Authorization to work in Zambia without sponsorship is required.

What you will do

• Manage the growth and expansion of sales and operations in the Zambian market from conceptualization through implementation.
• Support retail sales, enterprise sales, operations and partnerships, compliance and risk, and regulatory functions.
• Drive product awareness, retail traffic, enterprise sales, user adoption, and revenue through a metrics-driven approach.
• Analyze local market dynamics, competition, regulation, legislation, and growth opportunities.
• Build the vision for hirify.global’s role in the local payments ecosystem and secure alignment with global teams.
• Develop the local team, communicate goals, and maximize performance across direct and dotted-line reports.

Requirements

• Valid authorization to work in Zambia without sponsorship.
• In-depth understanding of business strategy, products, and services in the payments or fintech industry.
• Strong knowledge of local and global industry dynamics, regulation, legislation, and operating environments.
• Understanding of microeconomic and macroeconomic indicators and their effect on business.
• Excellent networking, negotiation, communication, problem-solving, strategic thinking, analytical, multitasking, time-management, and project-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with central Expansion, Enterprise, Retail, Compliance, Regulatory, and Product teams.
