Sr. Multimedia Designer (3D Visualization)

What you will do

• Design visual assets for marketing campaigns, social media, trade shows, advertising, presentations, proposals, and executive communications.
• Produce cinematic 3D renderings, product visualizations, animations, motion graphics, launch videos, and technical illustrations for satellites, spacecraft, and mission concepts.
• Collaborate with Engineering to accurately translate complex technical systems into engaging visual stories.
• Support proposal and product marketing teams with graphics, diagrams, infographics, product demonstrations, and customer-facing multimedia content.
• Develop storyboards, animated explainers, AR/VR concepts, interactive assets, and reusable libraries of 3D models, templates, textures, and branded creative materials.
• Manage multiple creative projects independently, meet deadlines, and explore emerging design, AI-assisted, animation, and visualization technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Animation, Digital Media, Visual Communications, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in multimedia design, motion graphics, or creative visualization, supported by a portfolio showing brand design, motion graphics, 3D visualization, technical illustrations, and product animations.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
• Advanced proficiency in at least one 3D platform, such as Autodesk Maya, Blender, Cinema 4D, or 3ds Max, plus experience with rendering engines including Redshift, Arnold, Octane, or V-Ray.
• Strong understanding of branding, typography, layout, composition, color theory, storytelling, and the ability to understand engineering concepts.
• Must be a U.S. citizen eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance and meet U.S. space-technology export authorization requirements.
