hirify.global is developing energy-efficient computing hardware for AI by mapping neural networks directly to semiconductor device physics.

What you will do

• Design, train, and scale language and reasoning architectures, including transformers, state space models, diffusion or flow models, and deep equilibrium models.
• Adapt sequence modeling to the continuous-time dynamics of hirify.global silicon.
• Develop training recipes, loss functions, and evaluation metrics for language comprehension, logical reasoning, and generation speed.
• Co-design model architectures with hardware designers, theorists, and systems builders.

Requirements

• MS, PhD, or equivalent research or project experience in AI or machine learning, computer science, physics, electrical engineering, applied mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Deep hands-on expertise in the theory, architecture, and training of modern foundation models.
• Experience designing and executing full-scale distributed training runs for large language or reasoning models on massive compute clusters.
• Proficiency with PyTorch or JAX and a track record of writing scalable training code for large language models.

Nice to have

• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop training, mixed-signal hardware, quantization, or physics-informed neural networks.
