Senior Software Engineer (Radio Systems)

Location: Zurich, hybrid workplace; CH/EU citizenship required

Company

Develops a software platform for AI-powered autonomous systems used by enterprise and government customers.

What you will do

• Architect and own a complex, multi-domain RF software ecosystem running on Linux.
• Design and develop high-performance user-space applications in Modern C++.
• Develop Linux kernel modules and hardware abstraction layers for RF baseband configurations.
• Create clean APIs for full-stack consumption of RF data in collaboration with RF experts.
• Build CI/CD, TDD, automated hardware-in-the-loop testing, and test infrastructure.
• Support OEM integrations and end customers, including infrequent on-site work and travel.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in relevant software or engineering roles.
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Modern C++ and systems programming.
• Experience developing Linux kernel modules or character drivers involving technologies such as DMA, USB, or PCIe.
• Deep understanding of Linux user-space development, multithreading, and IPC.
• CH/EU citizenship and strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-throughput data processing or software-defined radios.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as GTest.
• Interest in radio technologies and RF engineering.
